Haha oh maybe. I could plug in “Sex is Dominance” and see what it has to say…haha okay so yeah, I just did, and here is what it had to say:

I’m not a huge fan of the idea that the reason we talk about women as objects and men as protectors and creators is because women are naturally more in charge. Men and women are, on average, equally authoritative, respected, and influential, but our personalities predispose us to rate women as superior.

Take confidence, for instance. A huge chunk of what we assess as “confident” behavior is part of social and biological instinct that urges us to behave in a way that helps us to gain status and become a valued member of a group. If we’re all bystanders, standing off to the side, observing the scene from the sidelines, then we may be naturally inclined to cheer on women as strong and powerful leaders.
